My name is Patrick Noten and I am a Game Programmer.
I studied ICT-S(Software) and Game Design(Game Programmer) at Fontys HBO ICT Eindhoven. I graduated here in 2016.
During my study I had 2 internships, the first at Tingly Games and the second at Firebrush Studio.
The first focused on 2D games in Html and Javascript, here I made a few games including Tetris which can be seen amongst the projects here. The latter involved more research, being a graduation project, where I was tasked to solve an economy between AI's that would halt after a few in game years.Right after my study I started working at Chimpworks Games in Eindhoven. Here I worked at a number of prototypes/games for moblie (IOS & Android), which can not unfortunately not be seen on this website, because they are not released.
I learned a lot while working here, I especially worked very hard to be more precise and making my code more testable and easier to be read/changed.
After working at Chimpworks Games I got a position as a Visualization Developer at Isaac VR. which a few years later turned into PTTRNS.ai.
Here I got the opportunity to work on several smaller AR based projects, including the DAF app which can be seen on my portefolio. I also got experience working on a few bigger native iOS apps using Swift.
Towards the very end of my time working here I got some experience with C++ and Unreal trying to setup a rendering pipeline to take automated screenshots from different angles using json files and blueprints.
After working there for 4 years, I really wanted to get back into making games and found myself a lovely position at Sparkling Society.
Here I got the opportunity to work on several games that were released on Android, iOS & Windows, 3 of these projects can be seen amongst the projects here (Dragon Kingdom, Community Town and Jurassic Dinosaur). These were all made in Unity and C# and also included things like In App Purchases, Live Events and analytics. For me that was the first time I got to work on games in a live environment with multiple updates and I learned a great deal.Contact Information:
